The 3rd Edition of the Guwahati Marathon takes place on 29th November 2026 in Guwahati, Assam. It's Northeast India's first AIMS Certified Marathon.

Registrations open on 3rd July 2026 at 4:00 PM IST. Early-bird launch pricing is valid for a limited period only, so registering early gets you the best rate.

The race is held in Guwahati, Assam, with the venue and detailed route map to be announced closer to race day on the Event Info and Route Map pages.

#MyCityMyRun is the movement behind the Guwahati Marathon — a celebration of Guwahati's running community, bringing together runners, volunteers, ambassadors and residents to move the city forward, together.

Four categories are on offer: Full Marathon (42.2 KM), Half Marathon (21.1 KM), 10K City Run, and 5K Joy Run & Walk. Full details are on the Categories & Prizes page.

Yes. Full Marathon & Half Marathon: 18 years and above. 10K City Run: 12 years and above. 5K Joy Run & Walk: open to all ages, no restriction. Participants under 18 registering for the 10K must have guardian consent.

No. Category changes are not accepted once a registration is confirmed. Please choose your category carefully at the time of registration.

Yes. Registrations can be transferred to another person up to 30 days before the event date. Write to info@papermache.co.in with both participants' details to initiate a transfer. Transfers requested within 30 days of race day cannot be processed.

Every runner receives a Finisher Medal, Official Timing & Results, an Event Jersey, on-course Refreshments, Medical Support, GM Merchandise, and a Kit Bag. See the full breakdown on the Event Info page.

Registrations are non-refundable under normal circumstances. A refund is only issued if the event date is changed by the organizers due to unforeseen reasons. See our full Terms & Conditions for details.

If Paper Mache Pvt Ltd is required to change the event date due to unforeseen circumstances, affected participants will be notified and offered a refund in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.

No — registrations are non-refundable for personal reasons such as inability to attend, illness, or travel issues. You may transfer your registration instead (up to 30 days before the event) rather than seeking a refund.

All participants must complete a health declaration at registration. Please review our Medical Advisory for full guidance on fitness requirements, disclosures, and pre-race health screening.

Medical support is provided along the route and at the finish line for all categories. See the Medical Advisory page for details on on-course support and emergency protocols.

Official timing is provided for the Full Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K City Run. There is no timing information for the 5K Joy Run & Walk, which is a non-competitive fun run.
