These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern participation in the Guwahati Marathon 2026, 3rd Edition (the "Event"), organized by Paper Mache Pvt Ltd (the "Organizer"). By registering for the Event, you ("Participant") confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in full. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not proceed with registration.
The Guwahati Marathon is organized and managed by Paper Mache Pvt Ltd ("Organizer", "we", "us", "our"). All references to "the Event" in these Terms refer to the Guwahati Marathon 2026, taking place on 29th November 2026 in Guwahati, Assam.

The Organizer reserves the right to verify age and identity at bib collection and to deny participation where eligibility criteria are not met.
Registration is confirmed only upon successful payment of the applicable entry fee. Participants must provide accurate and complete information at the time of registration, including name, contact details, date of birth, and emergency contact information. Providing false information may result in disqualification without refund.
A confirmed registration may be transferred to another individual, subject to the following conditions:
Registration fees are non-refundable under normal circumstances, including but not limited to participant withdrawal, inability to attend, illness, travel disruption, or any other personal reason.
A refund will be issued only in the following circumstance:
Where a refund is applicable, the Organizer will communicate the refund process and timeline directly to affected participants via the contact details provided at registration.
The Organizer reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, shorten, or cancel the Event, or any category within it, due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to adverse weather, public safety concerns, government directives, or force majeure events. In such cases, the Organizer will make reasonable efforts to notify participants in advance through the contact information provided at registration and via official Guwahati Marathon communication channels.
By registering, the Participant confirms that they are physically fit and medically able to participate in the selected race category, and that they have disclosed any relevant medical conditions at the time of registration. Participants are strongly encouraged to review the Organizer's Medical Advisory before registering and again before race day.
Participation in a long-distance running event carries inherent physical risk. By registering, the Participant voluntarily assumes all risks associated with participation, including but not limited to injury, illness, or, in rare cases, death, whether caused by the negligence of the Organizer or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
The Organizer, its partners, sponsors, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, or damage sustained by a Participant before, during, or after the Event, except where such loss, injury, or damage arises directly from the gross negligence or willful misconduct of the Organizer.
By participating in the Event, the Participant grants the Organizer the right to capture, use, and publish photographs, videos, and race results featuring the Participant, without compensation, for promotional, editorial, and marketing purposes related to the Guwahati Marathon, across print, digital, and social media channels.
All branding, logos, race bib designs, finisher medals, and other creative assets associated with the Guwahati Marathon are the intellectual property of the Organizer, Paper Mache Pvt Ltd, and may not be reproduced, copied, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
The Organizer shall not be held responsible for any failure or delay in performance arising from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, epidemics or pandemics, government restrictions, civil unrest, or other events of force majeure.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Event shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Guwahati, Assam.
The Organizer reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued participation in the Event following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
